This new semester brings with it a fresh
start for all students! If you did well in
the first semester then keep it up – if you didn’t do as well as you could of then
here’s a great opportunity to improve!
It is also a good time to remind you of the class expectations and the
class grading policy.
Grading:
Your Physical Education grade is based on
the following:
(1)
Daily Points (which may include):
(a) Responsibility
(b) Cardio
(c) Activity
(d) Fitness
(2) Assignments
(3)
Tests/Quizzes
Remember you can always check your PE
grade on the class website or ask to see how you are doing.
Best ways to be successful in Physical
Education:
- Work at your best effort in the warm
ups, exercises, cardio, and activities
- Don’t let your friends and socializing
get in the way of your participation
- Be on time and come prepared (PE clothes,
dressed appropriately, pen/pencil/paper/notes/etc.)
- Make up your absences when you miss
class
- Be safe, stay on task, and pay
attention to all of the instructions
- Turn in homework assignments completed
and on time
- Be a responsible and positive part of
class and work to improve yourself and your fitness
