This new semester brings with it a fresh
start for all students! If you did well in
the first semester then keep it up – if not then here’s a great opportunity to
improve! It is also a good time to
remind you of the class expectations and the class grading policy.
Grading:
Your Physical Education grade is based on
the following:
(1)
Daily Points:
(a) Responsibility
(b) Cardio
(c) Activity
(d) Fitness
(2) Assignments
(3)
Tests/Quizzes
Remember you can always check your PE
grade on the class website or ask to see how you are doing.
Common Ways to Lose Points:
- Not making up your absences
- Low effort during your cardio/running
- Slowing down or low participation due
to talking with friends during the cardio/activities
- Non-dress (including wearing the wrong
sweats or other clothes over/under your PE clothes)
- PE Shirt not tucked in
- Off-task or disruptive during class
- Not bringing your PE notebook/materials
to class
- Missing or late homework assignments
