Welcome to 7^th grade Physical Education with Mr. Dee. The focus of 7^th Grade PE is “Meeting Challenges and Making Decisions”. This class will cover the State & National Standards which includes personal health & fitness, individual & group challenges, cooperative games, skill development and State Fitness Testing.

PE UNIFORM & Dressing POLICY

- PE Clothes are sold throughout the school year in both locker rooms

- PE clothes required: PE shirt (tucked in), purple shorts, appropriate shoes that tie tightly

- PE clothes optional: Sweats (worn over your PE clothes and must be grey or purchased from PJHS PE)

- The first day of dressing will be Friday April 19^th (A Day) & Monday April 20^th (B Day)

HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT #1: PE BINDER

Due Tuesday Aug 23rd (A) & Wednesday Aug 24th (B)

For PE you will need a 1” hard cover 3-ring binder that is separate from your other class binder(s) because it will stay in your PE locker most of the year. It is important that your PE binder has a hard cover so it’s heavy/strong enough that it will not blow away outside and will survive the elements (wind, wet, etc). It also should be 1” size so that it fits inside your PE locker. Your PE binder must include the following:

a) Your Name, teacher and PE Period clearly labeled on the outside/cover of the binder

b) Pens/Pencils (a couple is fine stored inside your PE binder) NOTE: If you have to borrow a pen/pencil from Mr. Dee for a test/quiz/assignment your grade on the test/quiz/assignment will be dropped by 10%

c) 20 – 25 sheets of blank lined paper (stored in your PE binder for class notes & assignments)
